Requirements
INEN is an e-bike rental and travel app that partners with top-tier accommodations and shops to offer bike rentals and local travel recommendations. The brand wanted to use bike-riding experience articles for content marketing, drawing more people to discover the benefits of green e-bike travel through INEN. But building an official site from scratch involves more than page design — it also means domains, servers, image loading speed, data redundancy, and a whole set of infrastructure that needs to run reliably over the long term.
- The brand had no technical team and needed a site it could publish to and swap images on itself, without re-engaging a vendor for every small change
- Domain and DNS settings touch multiple vendors, and a single misconfiguration in any one link could take down the site or the mailbox
- The blog would rely heavily on real travel photos, and storing them directly on the host server would slow down site loading over time
- Once the site went live, it would become the brand's public face — it needed data redundancy to prevent content loss from host issues or accidental operations
Let's Solve It!
- WordPress blog setup: selected an off-the-shelf template and fine-tuned the visuals, providing a preview for the brand to review before locking the direction at a finalization meeting, then moving into content publishing
- Cloud hosting and domain integration: GCP cloud hosting paired with domain DNS and SSL certificate setup, keeping the site stable and running over secure HTTPS
- Image assets accelerated with Cloudflare R2: article images stored centrally on Cloudflare R2 and distributed via CDN, speeding up image load times across the site
- Training handoff: delivered an operating guide deck, walking through article publishing and image swapping step by step, so the brand can maintain the site on its own going forward
Case Details
“We wanted to write story after story of great rides, showing everyone how easy travel with INEN can be — but the official site had to start from zero, including the domain, hosting, and backups.”
For a brand, an official site isn’t just a page that’s “out there” — it’s the long-term base for content marketing. INEN wanted to build SEO traffic and brand trust through blog articles, but no matter how well a story is written, if the underlying site architecture isn’t stable or images load too slowly, readers won’t stick around long enough to finish reading, and the marketing effect never materializes.
We helped INEN build its official blog from scratch, and planned out the domain, hosting, image acceleration, and data redundancy infrastructure alongside it, so the brand could focus on content going forward without worrying about the technical side.
What the brand wanted wasn’t a website — it was a site that’s “easy to update and stays good-looking”

For most clients, what they picture for an official site isn’t a one-off design handoff — it’s “something I can keep changing myself afterward.” INEN was no exception. They keep accumulating riding stories and case studies with partner accommodations and shops, and if every article and every image swap meant going back to an engineer, the pace of content marketing would grind to a halt.
That’s why the blog build was deliberately split into three phases:
- UI preview and adjustment: built a previewable layout using an off-the-shelf WordPress theme, so the brand could discuss changes against a real, working screen rather than imagining from a design mockup
- Finalization meeting: locked in layout and style once confirmed, avoiding repeated revisions that would delay launch
- Training meeting: before handoff, walked through hands-on operating documentation, demonstrating article publishing and banner swapping, so the brand walked away with more than just a website — a website it actually knew how to use
Site assets and copy were supplied by the brand itself; our job was turning that content into a stable, brand-maintainable site architecture.
Domain, SSL, cloud hosting: the invisible layer where things go wrong fastest
Before an official site goes live, there’s a layer of work users never see — but that, if it goes wrong, breaks the site outright: domain and hosting configuration.
- Domain setup: Domain and DNS settings determine whether the URL correctly resolves to the site, while also needing to account for existing mailbox services — a single misconfigured record could take down both the site and the company mailbox at once
- SSL certificate: ensures the site runs on encrypted HTTPS, a baseline that affects both user trust and SEO ranking
- Cloud hosting: used GCP cloud hosting for computing resources, sized to the site’s expected traffic and maintained on an annual service basis
These settings sit at the level of professional detail that a layperson could easily overlook — and one small mistake shows up to users as “the site is broken” or “the mailbox isn’t receiving mail,” problems that hit the business directly.
The more images you use, the slower the site gets — right?

Travel content marketing depends heavily on real photography. Riding routes, partner accommodation settings, local shop atmosphere — every story might bring in a dozen-plus images. Stack those images directly on the site’s host server, and you run into two real problems:
- Host storage gets eaten up by a growing pile of images
- Rising image request volume drags down site load speed — especially for readers arriving from outside links, where slow image loading is often enough to make them close the page
Our approach was to separate image assets from the site’s host server entirely: article images are stored centrally on Cloudflare R2 and distributed via CDN for nearby, low-latency delivery. For the brand, this is completely invisible in day-to-day use — the publishing workflow doesn’t change, but the site’s image load speed and long-term scalability both improve.
Data redundancy and web brand design: an official site is a brand asset
Beyond the blog and cloud hosting, this project also included two services that are easy to overlook but matter a great deal in the long run:
- Data redundancy: every story and every setting accumulated on the official site is an asset the brand builds over the long term. A regular backup mechanism exists so that if the host fails or something is accidentally changed, the site’s content can be restored — not rebuilt from scratch
- Web brand design: starting from an off-the-shelf WordPress template, we adjusted colors, layout, and visual elements so the site reflects INEN’s brand tone, rather than the template’s generic out-of-the-box look
Together, these two services take the official site from “a site you can browse” to “an asset the brand can rely on long term.”
Challenges along the way
Domain configuration is a single thread connected to everything
Domain and DNS adjustments look like a technical setting on the surface, but in practice they touch the brand’s existing mailbox service and any tools that might be integrated in the future. Every change to a record required confirming first that it wouldn’t affect existing services, then adjusting step by step, to avoid a single misconfiguration knocking out the site or the mailbox simultaneously.
Balancing an off-the-shelf template with brand tone
Using an off-the-shelf WordPress theme shortens the development timeline, but the template’s default layout and colors don’t necessarily match the brand’s tone. This was addressed in the web brand design phase — adjusting visual details without customizing the entire architecture, so the site reads as “INEN’s site,” not an instantly recognizable generic template.
Calibrating the training handoff
The workflows a technical team takes for granted aren’t necessarily intuitive for a non-technical brand team. The training meeting deliberately focused on “the features the brand would actually use” — publishing and banner swapping — rather than walking through every single admin feature, ensuring the brand could genuinely get up and running after handoff instead of learning a bunch of features they’d never touch.
Technical architecture
- Frontend: WordPress (off-the-shelf theme + web brand design adjustments)
- Hosting: GCP cloud hosting
- Domain & security: Domain/DNS setup, SSL certificate
- Image assets: Cloudflare R2 + CDN-accelerated delivery
- Data safety: regular data redundancy mechanism
The core lesson from this project
Building an official site often gets reduced to “make a website.” But for a brand running long-term content marketing, what really matters is the invisible infrastructure behind the site: whether the domain is stable, whether images load fast enough, whether data is backed up, and whether the visuals actually look like the brand.
Planning all of this out clearly at the start of the project is what lets the brand focus afterward on writing stories and building content — putting its best face forward to potential customers.
